I had an incident in front of the Citibank building on Sepulveda this morning. Some guy on a bicycle threw something at a lady that was about 20 feet from me. She wasn't hurt but I chased the guy and lost him around the corner. Luckily there was a Torrance patrol in the parking lot that saw me running (Of course I cramped up and fell) I got back up but was too far behind. The officer caught him. P...eople that show this kind of disregard for others very often escalate their actions into more violence. I thank the officer that responded quickly to stop that person. This reminds me as to how important a strong and responsive police department is to the community, but it also reminds me that we all need to get involved in making our city a better place. Maybe chasing some guy on a bike may not be the smartest thing. Oh well, Good Job Torrance PD
