Pat Furey, Bill Sutherland and Tom Brewer are the current candidates for the Torrance Mayor seat.  Mayor Frank Scotto is termed out and will not be eligible to run. Let's see if there are any future plans for Mayor Scotto.  Al candidates seem to have a good shot at it and it will be interesting to see where this election takes us. I am currently one of the candidates for Torrance City Council and I am one of many that will be seeking a seat on the 4 open spots.

Will Bill Sutherland be elected to be the next Mayor of Torrance CA? That is a great question. I have personally made it a point to spend some time with each candidate and so far I believe Bill Sutherland and Pat Furey both have a good shot at it. It will boil down to the Grassroots efforts the candidates put into it. The other prospective candidate Tom Brewer also seems like a viable candidate and has just now started rolling the ball forward.  I just wonder if he has fallen behind on the campaigning or not.  Some tell me that it's way too early to start campaigning for my race to Torrance City Council but I would have to disagree considering how vast Torrance is and how many doors there are to knock on.
