Torrance City Council Candidate Aurelio Mattucci wants to see a full size North Torrance Police Station. Crime in North Torrance needs to be chopped and stopped at the root.  A study needs to be done on how much is it costing the tax payers to send police to North Torrance. I know we have a few sub-stations, but the cost of patrolling North Torrance is much higher since the majority of the police force is in Central Torrance and most of the crime is in other parts of Torrance. We must also educate our citizens and encourage crime prevention programs such as the Neighborhood Watch. As your future councilman I will make public safety a priority. If we can't feel safe in our own homes, we can't enjoy them. Torrance City Council must always look after the well being of the citizens at any cost.
